The corrosion free brass and stainless-steel construction of the 8200 Series spiral gauge makes it suitable for use in marine applications for measurement of water, oil or fuel levels. They can also be used in a variety of construction and maintenance vehicles such as road sweepers and water spray trucks. The gauge incorporates a strong nickel-plated Alnico magnet. The magnet is capable of driving a standard direct read fractional indicator dial (8280) or TwinSite® sender dial (8240) that in addition to direct read sends an electrical signal to a remote receiver (gauge) and provides a remote fractional level indication. The gauges have a 1 1/2" MNPT tank connection and are suitable for tank pressures up to 25 PSIG They are designed for top (lid) mounting.
